Choosing the colour you want for your Bifold door frames.

Choosing the colour you want for your bi-fold door frames is not as straightforward as it may seem as there are so many choices on offer. Your choice of panel colour can have a massive impact on your living space and the overall aesthetic of your home if you want it to, or you can opt for more subtle colours depending on how you want the end look to be.

Origin bi-fold door panels can be manufactured in over 150 different RAL colours and can even come with a dual colour option, giving you the freedom to match the panels with the inside decor and the home’s exterior.

As RAL is an industry standard colours chart, it means we can colour match to other colours in your home. There is so much choice and we know it can be overwhelming which is why we are here to guide you.

To give you a better idea of how the colour of the doors will complement your home and living space, we have a number of small profile samples of popular colours that we can show you, or if there is a specific colour you would like to see, we can order in swatches for you.

Quality powder coated aluminium doors

In order to give the Origin bi-fold door a flawless finish, the aluminium frames are coated with the highest-grade powder available. Applied using an electrostatic process after a special pre-treatment, it’s then cured at 200°C to form a robust coating that’s tougher than conventional paint, while maintaining a completely smooth surface.

The powder coat finish is extremely hard wearing, making the frames resistant to scratches and unlikely to experience colour fading. This level of quality ensures optimum longevity and is just one reason why many of Origin’s doors come with a 20-year guarantee.

Our most popular colours are Anthracite Grey, Hipca White and Jet Black.
